Boomerang Coming Together

The Boomerang restoration has progressed with the mating of the forward and rear fuselage sections following a detailed disassembly, paint and reassembly.  The project is now awaiting the availability of the specialist timber workers in Queensland who will be manufacturing the rear exterior shell.  Stay tuned…

    If its possible I would love to get in touch with you regarding the Boomerang restoration. I’m currently in the middle of developing a fully detailed “virtual” Boomerang in 3D CAD, and I would love to be able to get photos and details of your work at HARS as your plane goes together. Its only with a bare frame like you have here that I can work from the “inside out” to create the virtual aircraft. I have some CAC drawings and I’m hunting down an overhaul manual (with more drawings) and looking for as many details as I can find.

    Best wishes for the restoration, I can see its an enormous amount of work.
