Clipped Wing for CAC Ceres
CA-28 CERES — By admin on May 5, 2009 at 4:57 pmA recent addition to the collection at HARS is the Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation CA-28 Ceres, an adaption of the CA-16 Wirraway, an advanced training aircraft used in WWII by the RAAF. Owned by the late Cliff Kearney of Blayney Air Farmers and recently acquired by HARS member Bill Smith as a HARS restoration project. With the airframe now re-assembled, the Ceres is undergoing a detailed inspection of its centre section and outer wing panels.
